Property rights of authors of KazAK and RAO have been protected
On 13 May 2014, the Special Economic Court of Astana city examined the claim of KazAK to Exclusive Production Centre LLP for illegal use of musical works of the author-members of KazAK and RAO, represented by KazAK, by their public performance during the concert. The court ruled out to meet the claims of KazAK and charge the defendant — Exclusive Production Centre LLP for 20,526,000.00 Tenge in favour of Kazakh and Russian authors.
