Fund Paid Compensation
On 13 April 2016, Medeu District Court of Almaty City examined the claim of KazAK to the Kazakhstan Spiritual Development Fund for illegal public performance of works of foreign authors whose interests are represented in Kazakhstan exclusively by KazAK. Finally, the Court made the ruling to meet the claim of KazAK and charge the Kazakhstan Spiritual Development Fund for 2,774,800.00 Tenge in favour of foreign authors.
On 27.06.2016, the appellate unit of the Almaty City Court declined the appeal of the defendant. The ruling came into force.
