Decision of court in favour of authors of KazAK and RAO
On 06 August 2014, Auezov District Court №2 of Almaty city examined the claim of KazAK to Y. S. Surzhenko for illegal use of musical works of the author-members of KazAK and RAO, represented by KazAK, by their public performance during the concert. The court ruled out to meet the claims of KazAK and charge Y. S. Surzhenko for 11,180,960.00 Tenge in favour of Kazakh and Russian authors.
