Signing of the Agreement with Meta
KazAK — the oldest and largest collective management organization for copyright in Kazakhstan, and a full member of the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers (CISAC) — proudly announces the extension of its partnership with Meta through the signing of a new agreement, which strengthens our shared commitment to the protection of copyright in the digital age.
This agreement is more than just a formal extension. It reflects our mutual understanding of the value of creative work and the recognition of the importance of building a fair and sustainable ecosystem for authors, composers, and all those whose creativity forms the foundation of the cultural economy.
In recent months, KazAK has engaged in extensive, transparent, and constructive negotiations with Meta. From the very beginning, our goal was clear and unwavering: to ensure that the voices and rights of Kazakhstani authors are respected and protected, especially as their works become increasingly accessible to a global audience through digital platforms. Thanks to open and respectful dialogue, we have achieved a positive outcome that will not go unnoticed.
We firmly believe that strong partnerships between platforms and collective management organizations like KazAK are essential for shaping a fair digital future where creators receive proper protection, recognition, and compensation for their contributions.
