Users of copyrighted works are individuals or legal entities using a work of authors in one form or another.
Users are divided according to types of uses of works.
Traditional users of copyright paying royalties include theaters, philharmonic, music associations, i.e. those organizations which pay royalties back to Soviet times.
With the adoption of Copyright Law in 1996, new users-payers of royalties for the use of works – transmission, cable retransmission, i.e. TV and Radio.
As a result of the emergence of new digital technologies including Internet, Copyright Law was amended accordingly in 2004. New uses of works as works on demand, ringtones for mobile phones, etc.
